About the Role

The Digital Governance Council is looking for an exceptional Manager to join our Digital Governance Standards Institute team.

You will play a critical role as a strategic member of the team, you will be responsible to lead and manage the development and ongoing maintenance of standards projects that will be recognized nationally and internationally in the information technology space, as directed by DGSI and its supporting committees. You will research trends and evaluate significant innovations in the industry to help guide and prioritize national standards development.

What You Bring

You are respected for your collaboration skills, clear communication, foresight, planning and action orientation. As an ideal candidate you have a combination of successful experience in entrepreneurial settings where new ideas and approaches are encouraged, and exposure to multi-stakeholder environments.

You bring experience in standardization or policy development. You have project management capabilities with strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.

You have demonstrated leadership and the ability to maintain credibility, trust and support. You are well-respected as an individual capable of superior execution and are recognized for the quality of your work.

You are an energetic, self-directed team player, comfortable in a start-up environment, and committed to the success of the Digital Governance Council with the ability to promote the Council’s values of innovation, disruption, collaboration, and advocacy.

You have a proven track record of fostering trusting relationships and partnerships to deliver collaborative, impactful programs or initiatives. An effective communicator, you can toggle seamlessly between diverse audiences and platforms. You have experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from beginning to end.

You are confident, self-directed, and a quick study, but not afraid to ask for help or own your mistakes. You are enthusiastic, upbeat, and a consummate team player. Calm under pressure, you deliver on tight deadlines and can juggle multiple priorities.

Nice to Have

Information technology industry experience.

Proposal writing experience.

English/French bilingualism.

Compensation will be calculated based on individual experience and expertise. We are looking for someone to fill a full-time role. The range for this position as a full-time role is $80,000 to $94,000. Benefits and vacation will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
