Quality Control Services, a respected construction company with over 35 years of experience, is seeking a dedicated Building Systems Specialist for our General Construction division. This role will encompass a broad range of tasks associated with building remediation and restoration.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general construction tasks including demolition, remediation, flashing, window and door installation, and building exterior repairs
- Apply waterproofing applications and carry out other preventative measures to protect against water damage
- Work on various building performance issues including water infiltration, faulty grade, complex foundation issues, seismic retrofits, building envelope issues
- Assist in other trades as required, contributing to our diverse, multi-disciplinary projects
- Ensure all work adheres to quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations
- Collaborate effectively with the team to complete projects on time and within budget

Requirements:
- Prior experience in construction or a related field required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 150 lbs
- Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in general construction
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to complying with all safety procedures and protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or apprenticeship is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
