JOB DESCRIPTION
- End-to-end application development including designing, coding, testing, debugging and deployment.
- Develop API, custom plug-in, programming codes for front-end and back-end of the application and reports using reporting tools. Manage databases.
- Perform Unit and Integrated Testing, set up test environments, troubleshoot and fix bugs/errors.
- Evaluate programming codes to ensure it meets best practice, industry standards and compatible with browsers, devices or operating systems.
- Prepare technical specifications and project documentation.
- Manage Server setup, system maintenance, database and backup, considering cyber-security and scalability.
- Perform application performance tuning to improve system performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience in application development.
- Detailed knowledge and experience in Software Development Lifecycle (i.e. Waterfall & Agile).
- Able to translate business requirements into system designs, solution and concept using tools as UML and flowchart to express system requirements.
- Well versed in relational database design and implementation.
- Experience with PHP Framework (Laravel) and front-end web development (HTML, Bootstrap, Tailwindcss, jQuery).
- Familiar with version control tool (Git).
- Experience with mobile application development is added advantage.
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms would be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding in User experience (UX) and design principles.
- Good influencing and communication skills.
