Job Description:
The European brand team are responsible for the P&L of their brand and will deliver from strategy to execution.
The European Trade Marketing Manager will be an integral part of this team and will deliver the excellence in execution plans required required to win in-store.
He/she owns the SKU catalogue per channel and brand activation at point of sales (virtual and physical) and is responsible to express the brand instore, thinking back from the shelf, based on profound understanding of the channel needs and local context, the category, the brand strategy and simplicity agenda. He/she contributes to the deployment of an integrated business plan to deliver European brand objectives including NSV, P&L metrics and all brand penetration targets in line with Laws of Growth.

What will be your key responsibilities?
Based on the understanding of the channel needs and local constraints in the frame of the category context, the brand strategy (that he/she would have contributed to build) and the simplicity agenda the European Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible of:
- Brand Expression & Activation Instore
- Key partner of the EBD and the portfolio team to build the category story
- Responsible for brand activation at point of sale (both physical and virtual) in the frame of the category context
- Delivers instore activation toolkits for all channels based on local insights and constraints: POS material (on- & off-shelf), promotional catalogue and mechanics (incl. free product, stickering solutions, etc.)
- Creates toolkits to ensure effective deployment of the brand strategy in market (eg. ideal range/portfolio per channel, pricing strategy, brand expression, etc.)
- Peer-assist the local brand activation team/ category team when needed to secure an effective deployment of the toolkits
- Track & monitor the performance and ROI of in-store activation – at regional level
Brand Catalogue Management
- Design the EU SKU catalogue per channel type (grocery, LAR, e-com, SPT) to ensure the right market and price partition coverage in collaboration with the ec-om team, the LAR team and the SPT team
- Develop channel specific pack & instore brand expressions (ready to sell, outercase, packsizes, etc….) built up from local trade constraints in collaboration with the excellence in execution team to deliver scale X-brands
- Lead the Brand Base Boost process to drive growth via the simplicity agenda for the brand
Community
- Consolidates and shares the key learnings from in-market activities (launches, promotions, activations) and enables roll-out of best practices across the region
- Close collaboration with local brand managers, category and trade managers
- Engages with the markets including Multi Sales to secure an effective deployment of the the toolkits
- Key member of regional brand community to build the right expression of the brand instore based on market realities and contributes to drive the buy-in and engagement of the local markets
