As an essential New Zealand food manufacturing business, we are seeking motivated individuals to join our successful and supportive team as an Operator at our Takanini Manufacturing site.

As an Operator, you will be trained to operate equipment working in one of our 3 Manufacturing Plants. Your responsibilities may include setting up, monitoring, and operating automated production machinery, performing quality checks to ensure production meets world-class standards of hygiene, running machine diagnostics and problem-solving, ensuring documentation is correct and complete, cleaning of plant machinery as required, completing prestart checks including safety checks on equipment and area, and ensuring your safety as well as your team's safety by reporting hazards, events, or near misses.
To be successful in this role, your food manufacturing experience would be an advantage; however, we are open to machine operation experience gained in a different industry. Together with a can-do attitude, good work ethic, and a strong focus on health and safety with good communication skills.
