Mō te tūranga | About the Role

As the Procurement Governance Specialist, your key responsibility is to help ensure Westpac NZ Procurement is meeting all regulatory and Westpac Group requirements. This will include collaboration with key stakeholders, maintaining and delivering training, as well as robust compliance reporting. The role also entails Quality Assurance, being proactive in making sure data is accurate and current and working within our contract database.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Circa three years’ experience ideally in a procurement/governance/compliance role and have worked in the contracts space
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across an organisation and bring stakeholders on the journey to meet our obligations
  • The ability to collaborate across functions and manage conflicting and often changing priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and a focus on accuracy
  • Advanced skills in Excel and/or Power BI would be advantageous
